Efforts to improve access to specialized healthcare services for residents of Azerbaijan's liberated territories are continuing. As part of the Great Return Program, another mobile medical screening campaign has been organized in the city of Khankendi.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service for Khankendi, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, the campaign took place on July 3 with the participation of trauma and orthopedic specialists, physiotherapists, pediatricians, and infectious disease physicians from the Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics under the Ministry of Health.

During the campaign, residents of Khankendi received free medical examinations. The screenings focused on musculoskeletal disorders, bone and joint conditions, spinal problems, post-traumatic complications, children's health, and infectious diseases.

Patients were provided with initial medical care and professional consultations. Those requiring further examinations or specialized treatment were referred to appropriate healthcare institutions.

Physiotherapists also carried out rehabilitation procedures and offered personalized recommendations aimed at restoring mobility and improving patients' quality of life.

A large number of Khankendi residents benefited from the campaign by receiving consultations and medical services. Participants expressed their appreciation for the prompt organization of the initiative and the professionalism of the medical staff, emphasizing the importance of such healthcare campaigns for people living in the region.

The primary objective of the mobile medical screenings is to protect the health of residents in the liberated territories, ensure the early detection of diseases, expand access to specialized healthcare services, and improve the availability of rehabilitation care.

The Ministry of Health regularly organizes mobile medical screening and public awareness campaigns across various medical specialties within the framework of the Great Return Program in Azerbaijan's liberated territories.
